5 out of 5 stars great after dinner game   November 16, 2008
We've had this game for many years, different box to this one, when our daughter was about 7 she'd beat us !! Found it last night and played after dinner party, such fun our friends almost had a marital over it ! five star game, think it was given to us by Austrian friends. Have lost the rules but pretty easy to guess.

Played over dinner and just hooked now. My kids love it as you can access a daily puzzle on the Set Game website which they love. It is a game for all the family, from 7 upwards. Highly recommend it. Always different each time you play it and easy to bring out to play.

5 out of 5 stars fascinating, absorbing game for memory and creative permutation   December 15, 2006

Verbal description cannot do justice to this strangely compelling and deceptively simple game. The friend who introduced me to Set claimed that the female mind generally does better than the male mind at spotting the peculiar visual matches that this game is based upon, an intriguing assertion that, anecdotally, was borne out as a group of us proceeded to play it into the night. Shouting of "Set!" is involved, along with dealing of cards into an open-faced board that all participants stare at, minds a-whir. All one need do is sit down in front of the cards; you'll find your mind playing it subconsciously despite yourself. Fun for family and cocktail party alike. It'd make an enchanting computer game as well, I'd wager.
